Traceability has become increasingly important in demonstrating food safety for everyone. Our Food Safety Policy commits us to maintain the highest standards of safety and achieve product traceability through the entire food processing and entire value chain.
Food Quality
Today’s customer and consumer expects food to be consistent in taste, colour, texture and nutritional value. Our processing systems are designed to meet these expectations, meet the most advanced hygiene standards, and minimize waste. We enforce quality control on our production lines, also quality can be compromised during transportation and distribution. Therefore, we carry out rigorous tests across the value chain to ensure full compliance that products are fully safe and protected.
Food Availability
We believe that the most effective way to tackle food security and nutrition challenge is to build sustainable food value chains. As the population grows, more pressure is put on food production, land and water sources, hence to feed these increasing population, food production must increase as well. MSD is helping to bring safe, healthy and nutritious foods to multiples of low-income households.
