Climate Change
As part of our commitment to help combat climate change, we target reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, water and energy consumption, and solid waste. Our key environmental performance indicators are: CO2 emissions, energy consumption, water usage and solid waste generation.
We reduce CO2 emissions by introducing innovative processes, leveraging new technology and opting for clean energy sources.
We refine our energy footprint measurement and increasing energy efficiencies wherever possible to reduce consumption.
We minimize freshwater use, recycle wastewater and manage wastewater to avoid pollution.
we reduce waste through recycling and reuse of processing by-products, and ensuring proper waste disposal to avoid pollution.
Biodiversity
We will prevent habitat destruction as a result of our activities. Hence, protecting ecosystems and minimizing our environmental impact is a priority for us, both in daily operations and when we expand our footprint by doing the following:
